I just finished watching VH1's Rock Doc's documentary series about the Sexual Revolution in America. And it made me think about what people are claiming about our mobile revolutions.
It seems that Americans just loving thinking up new, ground breaking ideas that change the world: religion, government, race (sort of but not really), sex, and now communication.
Since I just finished reading Oil! by Upton Sinclair; I feel like that the sexual revolution was a mockery of the socialist/communist revolution that flourished in California.
And thus, is the mobile revolution just a shell of what fighting for control in your life should be. But I cannot imagine any sit-ins for mobile phones...but I guess that was what the iPhone wait lines were.
